I’ve installed an Atlas throttle lock on my 2022 Suzuki V Strom 650 and am very happy with how it works. It’s very easy to use and installed without much trouble. The company was very responsive to questions I had on installation.

Cleverly designed, well made and easy to fit solution for resting your throttle hand. I like that it is interchangeable between bikes and that spare components are available. Not cheap but worth the money.
I recently installed the Atlas Throttle Lock on my bike. I was impressed with the quality and looks of this lock. The closest thing to a cruise control that I have seen on the market. Also, the customer service is first rate and I recommend this item.
I didn’t really have a need for it but I wanted the option so I ordered it on a whim. The installation was very easy, the operation of it is as simple as it can get and it works perfect.
Product quality was excellent—metal heavy duty—not cheap feeling at all. The machining is precise. I like that the friction pads are easily replaced—it also speaks to the fact that the company expects the rest of their product to last. I wish there were half-way sizes included in the kit. I bought and installed on my C90 Boulevard (1500cc). The lock pad does not grip well if you try to use it in serious rain (dampness was no problem), but it will hold if you set it before the rain and you are planning to ride through. At first this kind of bugged me but I found myself not wanting to lock the throttle during a heavy rainstorm anyway so I think this might actually be a plus compared to other systems.
Great product overall. I’ve only managed about 200 miles this spring, but I will recommend it to friends who want to give their wrists a little break this summer.
Should have asked you to help install. Made it fit and it performs as advertised. Smiles on long straight aways and a little effort on uneven routes, but expected. It was worth the price. Thanks 🙏.
This is one of those things I didn't know I needed until I had it. I bought the last one at the 2023 MOA rally in Richmond and then came back later in the day to get it installed. They could have been packing up and going home but they wanted to make sure I received the full experience and I appreciated that, now that's customer service! As for the product itself, I have no complaints. It works as advertised and was just the thing I needed on my 2007 BMW GSA to reduce throttle fatigue on long trips. Would highly recommend this product to all my friends!
I installed it myself, which I think is why it slips a little. That is on me. Otherwise, a great product. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a throttle lock. I am satisfied with the product, it is well built and a great addition to my 2013 Triumph Tiger XC 🤠🏍️🤠
The Atlas throttle lock is so much better than other throttle locks I’ve used. It is easy to use, intuitive, and even was easy to install. I also had the opportunity to reach out for customer service. It was the owners who reached back out to me and were very helpful and friendly. The Atlas throttle lock is money well spent.
We were on a several day ride and my throttle hand wasn’t happy. Picked up an Atlas throttle lock and it solved my problem.
I got to meet the folks from this company at the BMW MOA rally, where I got the product installed directly by the owner, the man who designed it! I'm really happy with the ATLAS and would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed it. I recommend it with no reservations.
I bought an Atlas throttle lock a couple of years ago for my Duke 390 and it used a stick on friction pad. It worked fine, but I really like the new design with the slot to hold the friction pad. It works great on my new Z900rs cafe, which did not come with cruise control. I recommend it to all my friends with vintage bikes or who have bikes with that weird bar end lock. It is much easier to use your thumb to activate and deactivate the throttle lock on the Atlas.
Best upgrade I have every made to my cruiser. I would recommend this to anyone that takes long trips.
There aren't many "universal" products that end up being actually universal. While this doesn't work with EVERY handlebar grip, it definitely works with most that are worth having. Not only has this worked well for me on two bikes ('93 sportster and '08 Shadow), but it perfectly survived a full front-end wreck that exploded my forks with no damage to it. Definitely recommend!
I had a very good experience with buying the Atlas throttle lock, the Atlas team was very helpful.
The lock took about 15min to install, it works well and I don't know how I have managed to ride long distances before without one. Totally recommend one to anyone who hasn't got a cruise control system!
Over the past 21 years, I’ve used the universal type throttle lock with the ring clamp, the bar end type, and now the Atlas. The Atlas is the best combination of looks and ease of use that I’ve found. I have a top mount on a CB300R, and a bottom mount on a Moto Guzzi V7. I’ve only used them for a few months, but I’m happy so far. It’s a quality product.
Installation was easy, but you'll want to pay attention to the instructions. With both of my bikes, the space between the grip and throttle housing was too small, and I had to pull back the flanged end of the grip slightly. They explain on their web site and it only took a minute. This allowed for a perfect fit.
I would buy it again. Not cheap, but worth the money in my opinion.
Still trying to figure out how to install this thing. Instructions are bad. I can’t find a video. It could be my fault, I have after market grips on my bike. That could be the problem. But it just seems really loose and not practical. Also, bought this item at a really for full price. Then a month later it went on sale. Usually when I buy products at rallies they have rally pricing.
I have had at least 3 others and this one is by far the best one. It is very easy to use along with feeling safe when using it. I set it once use my throttle with adjusting the lock for increase or decrease in speed and cruise along. I have not had any issues.

I’ve tried several throttle locks and have found the Atlas to be the most effective for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to relieve their wrists on long rides.
